Terms of Use

Last updated: August 9, 2026

These terms are a real agreement between you and The Unlock Strong Program ("the Program," "we," "us"). By purchasing or using the Program, you're agreeing to everything on this page. We've written it in plain English on purpose, please actually read it, especially the health and safety sections.

1. What the Program is, and what it isn't

The Program is educational fitness content: training plans, printable sheets, and reference material for generally healthy adults. It is created by Darin W. Allred, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, but:

  • The Program is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Purchasing or using the Program does not create a doctor–patient relationship between you and Dr. Allred, and the Program is entirely separate from his medical practice.
  • Nothing in the Program replaces the advice of your own physician, who knows your health history and can examine you. When the Program and your physician disagree, your physician wins. Every time.

2. Your health responsibilities

Exercise carries real risk, including muscle and joint injury, falls, and, rarely, serious cardiac events. By using the Program you agree that:

  • You answered the setup questions honestly, and you'll follow the guidance they produce, including the instruction to get medical clearance if your answers call for it.
  • You are voluntarily participating in physical exercise and you assume the risks that come with it.
  • You will stop exercising and seek medical care for warning signs, chest pain, unusual shortness of breath, dizziness, as described throughout the Program.
  • You'll use appropriate equipment in good condition and sensible surroundings.

3. Release of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, you release The Unlock Strong Program, Darin W. Allred, MD, and anyone working with the Program from any claims, injuries, damages, or losses arising from your use of the Program or your participation in the exercise it describes. If a court finds any part of this release unenforceable, the rest still applies, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Program.

4. Your license: one purchase, one person

Your $50 one-time purchase gives you a personal, lifetime, non-transferable license: the web content, your personalized program, the printable sheets, and future updates to the Program. You may print the sheets for your own use and share your program documents with your own physician, physical therapist, or trainer. You may not share your login, resell, republish, or distribute the Program's content, it's how we keep a physician-written program at an accessible price.

5. Payment and refunds

The Program is a one-time purchase, no subscription, no recurring charges. If it isn't right for you, email us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No forms, no guilt. After 30 days, purchases are final.

6. Honest expectations

The Program is built from published clinical research, and the science page shows our work. But research reports averages, and you are not an average, your results will depend on your consistency, your starting point, and your biology. We promise you an evidence-based plan and honest information; we cannot and do not promise specific results.

7. Intellectual property

All Program content, text, program design, sheets, and branding, belongs to the Program and is protected by copyright. The clinical research we cite belongs to its respective publishers and is linked so you can read it at the source.

8. Changes

We update the Program when the science changes and may update these terms as the Program grows. Meaningful changes to these terms will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use the Program after changes means you accept them.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
